Collective Development Coordinator
The Rainbow Support Collective (RSC) is recruiting a new fixed-term Collective Development Coordinator (0.5FTE) to focus on structural and relational development of the collective. Over 12 months, this role will work with the Strategic Advocacy Coordinator, RSC members and the wider rainbow support sector to design and implement changes that the collective have identified as being important.
Do you have strong group facilitation and relationship development skills, confidence in working with a range of people across rainbow communities, and a talent for developing processes and systems with groups? Want to make a difference for rainbow people across Aotearoa?
The Collective Development Coordinator will further develop the collective’s structures, processes and relationships, implementing ways of working that function with member organisations’ capacity and commitment. The role will engage closely with RSC member organisations, and rainbow organisations outside of the collective, to design and implement changes that the collective have identified as being important, including improving how the collective and rainbow movements uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi and address white supremacy.
The role will facilitate monthly networking meetings of the collective, and will lead a process of engagement and change that will support the ongoing sustainability and relevance of the collective. It will work with the Strategic Advocacy Coordinator to clarify members’ needs and aspirations for collective advocacy, and support any changes required.
The Collective Development Coordinator sits within Te Ngākau Kahukura, supported by the governance group of the wider Collective. It works in a team of two with RSC’s Strategic Advocacy Coordinator.
